Why does quality of protein matter?!
The best way to incorporate protein is by eating solid whole foods. GOOD QUALITY meat is where we get our nutrient dense protein. Another good source comes from those protein shakes you’re always hearing about. Protein is also assembled from amino acids which are molecules linked together like “beads on a string.” SOME amino acids are produced by our bodies cells while OTHERS are supplied by the food we eat. Essential amino acids are ones we must get from food. WHEY protein is LOADED with amino acids. Which makes it even more of a reason we should be mixing up that protein powder with some water or coconut water after an intense GYM SESH!
