I’ve always been an athlete. I played college soccer and after I graduated I played in several leagues. I joined fitworks and did the normal grouping of muscles with a rest day and cardio day. It just got old so I started training for marathons and half marathons but my knees didn’t like the distance.   A friend of mine invited me to a garage to workout and it kicked my butt so I had to try more. Everyday was different and I was so sore that if I knew it was working muscles I hadn’t used in a long time!  Fast forward to 2014 my husband and I decided to switch to CrossFit the Tracks because most of our friends switched and community was important to us.  One of my successes was losing pregnancy weight.  My cardio is better than it has ever been and I move better than I did before having 3 beautiful girls.  My biggest success is being active with my girls and introducing them to an active lifestyle!  My advice to anyone who is interested in CrossFit is to just sign up and go for it.  It’s going to hurt but after that first month you won’t want to quit. You will want to see where your body can take you.  You don’t have to be in “shape” to start just join and get moving you won’t regret it.
