Our Approach

At The Tracks we have a unique ownership and management team.  We met while doing Crossfit and knew that we could create a great CrossFit experience for others to enjoy.  But along the way we realized there was much more to Fitness that we weren’t teaching.  This is where our Bootcamps, Personal Training and Sports Performance programs were born.  

Our goal is simple, it’s to help you achieve YOUR fitness goals.  Whether you’re a 70 year-old trying to get in shape to make getting around easier, a mother of 3 trying to get back on track or a high school athlete looking to take your skills to the next level, WE CAN HELP!

Casey Atkinson

Co-Owner & Head Coach

Once College ended Casey was looking for something to keep that competitive edge.  After watching the 2011 CrossFit Games on ESPN Casey knew he had found it.  After his first few CrossFit WOD’s Casey knew he was in for an adventure.  Like most of us, Casey grew up lifting weights in a gym and playing sports, but CrossFit showed Casey a whole new side of weight training.

Dillon Smith

Personal Trainer, Sports Performance Coach & CrossFit Coach

Where do I start with Dillon???  First, as you’ll see from the picture above he ALWAYS has a great time when he’s at the gym.  He knows how to make everyone smile and make your hour or two at the tracks fun.  Dillon came to The Tracks as an intern in January 2014.  He was just out of High School and looking to get start a career.  In 2015 Dillon joined The Tracks as a trainer and the gym hasn’t been the same since.  Not only is he an ABSOLUTE beast in the gym, but he’s an amazing coach with a great understanding of how to help members get in better shape and move correctly.

Zach Meagher

Personal Trainer & Sports Performance Coach

Zach excelled in sports in High School & College.  He played Football at the University of Louisville. He’s an amazing coach and specializes in working with youth athletes.

Melissa Doss

2nd Place 2014 CrossFit Games Team Member – Conjugate Black

2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 CrossFit Games Central East Regional Qualifier

Melissa started CrossFit in April of 2012 because she was bored with her workout routine. She entered into her first team competition in August of 2012 and while she struggled with a lot of the movements and lifts, she loved competing. For the next 6 months, Melissa stepped up her training routine and completely changed her diet. All of her hard work paid off and Melissa ended up finishing 25th during the Central East Open WOD’s which qualified her to compete in Regional’s.  Melissa finished 30th in the Region and knew that she wanted to be back on that floor for 2014. She again qualified as an individual in 2014, however, chose to go team. In 2014 Melissa was on Conjugate Team Black for the 2014 CrossFit Games and her team finished in 2nd place IN THE WORLD!

Lenzie Ewin

Being active has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing sports and loved every minute of it. I was raised to always work hard for what you want because it wasn’t going to be handed to you & I’m thankful for that! After high school, I got the opportunity to play Womens Basketball and Tennis at Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana. I did so for 4 years.My husband and I found Crossfit in 2011 going into my senior year of college. I remember to this day our first WOD “Baseline” and how it left me lying in my sweat afterwards. From then on I was hooked! After college I knew I would feel lost not having basketball and the adrenaline I felt playing that sport I loved. But after finding crossfit I knew I was set and that this sport would change my life completely! In August 2013 following college graduation I got the opportunity to coach full time at Crossfit Lions Pride in Evansville, IN. I knew not only that I wanted to better myself in the gym but getting the opportunity to better others and change their lives meant that much more! My husband and I just recently made the move to Northern Kentucky and being apart of the tracks couldn’t feel more at home! I knew right away this is where we needed to be. I love getting the opportunity to coach so many different athletes and be apart of such an amazing group of coaches! The community here is amazing and I’m blessed to be apart of it.
